Fink
Colleen
Quinn Fink is the
new head field hockey coach at the University of
Pennsylvania. Coach Fink enters her first season
with the Quakers this spring. She has spent the
last four seasons as the head field hockey coach
at
Haverford College. While at Haverford in 2009, Fink led the
program to their
first Centennial Conference playoff berth.
In 2008 Fink lead the Fords to their
highest win total in nine
seasons. Fink oversaw an offense that was
amongst the best in the conference in goals per
game and set the school record with 116 points
(44G 28A) for the season.
Haverford College's field hockey team was rated
third best in the nation among NCAA Division III
programs on the 2008 National Field Hockey
Coaches Association's Academic Team Award
listing (3.51 Team GPA)
Colleen Fink is a
2000
graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, Captained
team senior year. She was the Head Coach at
Archbishop Carroll HS 2001-2003. During her
tenure she led
Carroll to a pair of Philadelphia Catholic
League titles in 2001 and 2003, and reached the
league’s title game in each of her three seasons
as head coach.
Fink was the Assistant Coach at Saint Joseph’s University
2003-2005. She
helped put together back-to-back seasons of
double-digit victories for the first time in 10
years. Fink also helped guide the Hawks to their
fourth and fifth consecutive Atlantic-10
Conference postseason tournament appearances.
She is
also a U.S. Field Hockey Futures Site Director,
Regional Selector, Pennsylvania Elite Site Coach
and
holds a USFHA coaching certification.
Since 2005,
Fink has been involved in the Viper Field Hockey
club program based in Limerick. As a club
manager and coach, she led Viper's under-19 team
to a gold medal at the National Festival, and
she qualified under-19 and under-16 teams to the
National Indoor Tournament.
Fink is the Owner/Developer of CQ Sports and
College Quest.
College Quest is a one-day tournament for high
school players to showcase their ability in
front of college coaches. This long standing
event is highly recognizable and respected
amongst high school and college players and
coaches.
